One of the things I am sincerely grateful for is that I love what I do for a living, and I love creating a world worth living in. As someone who has taken the path less traveled, and developed a life in holding space and guiding others, I've found that a vital piece in healing is simply the opportunity to let the Self emerge. It is culturally ingrained in so many that the individual is something both celebrated or rejected, depending on who is watching, or how well you are doing. My job is to witness your truth, as you see it, (and then some) with an objective eye. In varying roles, from mother, to healer, to community activist, I am humbled by the tirelessly strong and beautiful people who keep themselves under wraps. As healing unfolds, an individual becomes more in touch with the essence that allows for better, healthier choices, less toxic attachments, and a greater sense of connectedness to the world, instead of overwhelmed by it.

At my very core, I am an artist. I celebrate individuality and all of it’s expressions. In healing, I understand that my clients’ personal development is about their own unfolding, not a prescribed method, or technique. It is not anything to do with me, really, as that would impede the truth of one’s own personal journey. In this space, possibilities are endless. Healing is a process of creation, as well as necessary destruction. The difficulty of this process has everything to do with how present an individual is to one’s own aliveness and shadow work. It can challenge every aspect of life, our attachments, our illusions. It can challenge how we engage with the things that have shaped us, our upbringing, our relationships, our culture, our genius, our traumas.

My own flaws and wounds have guided me to work with others in an holistic way. I made this decision after the passing of my mother in 2007. Witnessing her struggles with medical issues, I became dedicated to finding alternative and complimentary ways to support personal health and vitality. I began with nutrition, attending The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Alongside of this, my intuitive abilities became so strong that I could not ignore them, and began to incorporate readings along with nutritional counseling. I began to partner with The Reiki School + Clinic, seeing clients and teaching Intuitive Development, eventually training in and teaching Reiki there.

Reiki has also taught me to revere the flawed beauty in us all. That is what allows for the rawness and surrender to forgive, and to be better, to heal. It has been a powerful concept in class and in session, where I am both the teacher and the student, the healer and the healed. It also allowed me to see the unbounded potential of the self, the heights that are possible within human existence, if we choose them.

I have always had a strong drive to build community, and enjoyed time as Community Development Director for The Reiki School + Clinic. I love to bring people together for unique and delightfully surprising experiences. I currently curate events around the current tarot renaissance around the city of Philadelphia that have included reading at private events and small businesses including the Spiral staircase, Tattooed Mom, The Gravedigger’s Ball, events surrounding the release of The Philly Tarot Deck, and an Atlas Obscura event at The Philadelphia Magic Gardens.

In my passion for collective healing, I have found an outlet as a ReikiSound(tm) Practitioner, holding monthly Planet of Sound events. These have been profound and explorative events.

I continue to find new ways to embrace life, surrender to its losses and savor the joys. I like to think that my mistakes are made so that others can avoid them, or that I can at least locate the grace in a complete, real life mess, and just breathe life into that, for whatever is next.
